2019 Great Lakes Public Forum

The Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement calls for the U.S. and Canada to convene the Great Lakes Public Forum once every three years to discuss the state of the lakes and progress made under the Agreement, and to provide an opportunity for public input.

The Forum gives the two Parties an opportunity to update the public on the state of the Great Lakes, progress being made under the Agreement, and the Parties’ science and action priorities for the next three years. Additional topics to be covered at the Great Lakes Public Forum include:

  • Lakewide Management
  • Areas of Concern
  • Nutrients
  • Invasive Species
  • Habitat Restoration
  • Chemicals of Mutual Concern; and
  • Discharges from Vessels

Registration will close on Friday, May 31, 2019

Earth Week 2019 – College of Lake County

From conserving soil to reducing waste generated by plastic drinking straws, learn what you can do at home to help make our world a little more sustainable during the College of Lake County’s Earth Week events.

The event website contains a complete schedule of events. The activities are free and open to the public.

Activities will take place on the Grayslake Campus and last approximately one hour, unless otherwise noted.
